Welcome to Putera Sampoerna Foundation-United Schools Program’s website.

Putera Sampoerna Foundation, in collaboration with Municipal Governments, selected schools and socially-responsible multi-national companies, established the United Schools Program (USP) in 2005.

The aim is to set up models of an effective school assistance program to improve the quality of teaching, learning and educational services of state-owned schools across Indonesia which potentially need to develop the quality of their schools.

As we provide them with School Quality Improvement Programs, we would initially conduct a schools diagnosis process in order to identify the strength, weaknesses and needs of the schools. We then set our goals accordingly and have detailed key performance indexes to monitor the results of our works.

Over the three years of project engagement, we have successfully implemented various programs addressing key areas such as schools’ management, teachers’ competencies, infrastructure and facilities improvement, as well as students’ development.

Now we are very happy to inform you that our schools have been fruitfully stepping into the sustainability phase as they have finished the 3-year project program. Those schools have shown some significant positive changes. We are also committed to maintain effective communication with them to ensure their sustainable quality.

To get a better feel of the efforts and enthusiasm that every stakeholder plants for a better education system and a better tomorrow for this nation, we invite you to explore our website and contact us if you are interested in becoming our partner.

Sincere regards,

Eddy Henry

Food for Thought

There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.
