SMAN 11 Bandung has successfully completed the school quality development program held by Sampoerna Foundation United Schools Program (SF USP) for three years. Programs and Alumni Affairs Director Sampoerna Foundation (SF) Eddy Henry, Wednesday (12/8) said that SMAN 11 Bandung is expected to be "Center of Education Excellence" in Bandung city.

Head of Bandung Education office, Oji Mahroji, proudly stated in Bandung Tribun (12/8), one of the local newspaper, that just in short time, the school that was in cluster 3 has succeeded to reach cluster 1. There are certain amounts of complex assessment that the school should pass and SMAN 11 Bandung proves itself to meet all the requirements.

Wardoyo shares the secret of the school success is because of Sampoerna Foundation through SF USP. "We have had this golden opportunity since 2006, and we praise the Lord that the programs have significantly positive impacts." he added.

Meanwhile, Eddy Henry explained that SF USP focused on the State owned schools, as there are more students willing to enroll in these kinds of schools. We have not figured out any plan for the future as SMAN 11 Bandung is expected to be a role model in its surrounding schools. Hopefully the school can be the Center of Education Excellence as it is supposed to be.
