Ayu Karisha Saraswati, a grade-12 art stream student from SMAN 4 Denpasar will pursue scholarship at Red Cross Nordic United World College in Norway this month.

Ayu was chosen among 80 top students from 12 best schools participating the selection process in Bali. Being multi-talented and outgoing, Ayu has always been a class valedictorian since junior high school. Some of her accomplishments include:

• 1st Prize, Provincial-level  News Reading Contest at Universitas Udayana
• 3rd Prize, National News Reading Contest at SMAN 2 Denpasar
• 3rd Prize, Provincial-level English Presenter Contest at Universitas Udayana
• 1st Prize, Provincial-level Story Telling Contest at Universitas Udayana
• Winner of The Favorite Bali Cover Girl Award

“Nervous and excited” is how she felt about the upcoming experience. “This is an invaluable opportunity and I will not let myself down. I’ll try my best to maintain my grades,” she said.
