SMAN 13 Surabaya’s high school band ‘Es Campur’ performed at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, as one of the finalists for XLent Heroes competition, a national sports and arts competition held by PT Excelcomindo Pratama Tbk. (XL). They were chosen to represent Surabaya after a selection process participated by 2000 schools across Indonesia.

The band has been making a major breakthrough since March this year, when they won the ‘favorite band’ award along with the third prize in the national Indomie Jingle Dare competition. Their persistence in joining large-scale band competitions has made them noticeable among major consumer brands who often host youth-oriented competitions.
