Furthermore, the event involved teachers from other regions, such as teachers from fellow USP school SMAN 5 Bukittinggi and other invited teachers from several High Schools within the district.
Chaired by Pak Seno, the chief of the trainers from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, each trainer gave a Pre-Test, a Post-Test and some sheets of evaluation materials. They also thoroughly discussed each of the given points of the test materials. One of the Chemistry training participants, Pak Dimas, said, “We are looking forward to having next SCT so that we can have not only new types of teaching materials but also even more tips on how to overcome students’ learning difficulties”
As a result, this three-day training was relatively successful in enhancing the teachers’ knowledge of their subject, because the teaching materials had been arranged to meet the participants’ teaching needs by Ibu Ida, the event chairwoman from SMAN 2 Sekayu who liaised with the UNJ trainers beforehand. Satisfied with what had been learned in the training, Pak Andri, one of ICT teacher participants confessed “The trainers certainly master the materials they shared”.Furthermore, the event involved teachers from other regions, such as teachers from fellow USP school SMAN 5 Bukittinggi and other invited teachers from several High Schools within the district. |
